Survival Seuss Part 3

Okay, that's my last bit of food for thought on the harshest of survival realities for folks to consider in their own survival studies. (And my last bit of Dr. Seuss torture, too, haha!)

So wrappin' up The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of Survival, here's the last of the hard core aspects of survival to think about.

Something very extreme to consider in survival as we cover survival tactics in the extreme is amputations.

Animals do it, humans have done it. Post-battle or in battles of infection, sometimes amputation is the only solution.

So, first off, how does one do an amputation? And then, what do you do with the appendage...? My survival book and some wilderness medicine books covers how to do this. As for the severed appendage, I say, Chow time! For you or, use for bait for prey!
